I have had a domain registered at domain-maniac for the last 6 years. At first this was a good company but in the last 2 years this company has really started going down the tubes with the last 6 months worse then anyone can imagine. Besides my domain I have 2 email address registered through them. About every other month they will be uneccessable for 3 or 4 days and they can never give me a reason why. On Feb 1st I made the mistake of renewing both email addresses and the domain. The email addresses were set to expire on Feb 15th and the domain on Feb 9th. On Feb 9th they took down the email address I had paid to renew but the domain was still up. It took 3 phone calls, 1 hangup from them and 55 wait time to get them to send a tick "upstairs" to have the emails turned back on that were marked paid the whole time in my back office at domain maniac and then it took the "upstairs 3 more days to get them turned back on and during all of this they refused to give me a apology for their mistake.
At least they kept the domain up or so I thought. Tonight I get a notice that the domain had already expired and they had turned the domain off the same time they turned my email back on even through my account showed it was paid until Feb 6, 2009! So I call them tonight because there email support system no longer works (probably forgot to renew it) and after only 20 minutes on hold and 1 hang up they agreed to send a ticket "upstairs" but there is no telling when they will hook it back up. They will not give me credit for the time it was down aas they should so next year when they come upfor renewel I will be moving everything over to go daddy.
Save your self the grief and use anyone but this crappy company. |

| Looks like the company is no longer in business or staffed by evil people. I got charged $180 for a hosting plan two weeks ago, but I am still expecting the service to be delivered, and they don't repond to any e-mail or ticket. |
