Web Hosting Reviews and Ratings |

| don orkoskey, 02nd 2007f June, 2007 |
I used to host my site son Rocketflow. They were terrible. I left a domain name registered through them - BIG MISTAKE!!!
I am in limbo - I have no "account" with them to login to anywhere. I hosted an event (in it's second year) and the domain was for a site about that event. The weekend of the event was a year since the domain was registered. As I am very busy with planning the event I didn't think to check to see if the registration was about to expire.
Any other host I've ever dealt with will in the very least tell you your domain is about to expire no matter how crap of a host they are. I got nothing!
Now the domain points to a holder page and the event participants have no where to go.
I understand that it is mostly my fault for not keeping up with the registration but why the hell did they not send a notification?!?!?!?!
Oh that's right - for the same reason I left their hosting - they are terrible. I honestly believe this is some guy in his mom's basement with a server in Eastern PA.
If you google the "company" address it is a private residence. Also they never answer the phone - they always call you back after you leave a message. Plus the sites I had on their shared server were hacked.
They didn't do a thing about the hacked sites - though I got a new host and had them point the domain at the new host if I enter the address of where my stuff was on the shared server it still to this day shows the same hacked content over 11 months later. |
