it isn't the best, but it is ok.
i feel my server is a bit flakey but so far their service has been ok.
I figure this next year they will prove themselves to be stable or I will find another provider. I give them a B+.
Would I rec. them? I lean toward yes. |

We have numerous sites with Ubiquity and at times they went down. As I am writing this we are now on the 4th day of having 3 sites down. This time their excuse is that there servers had been compromised and they are working on the back up. We are also told that they now have server issues and suspended all sites!
As we had just paid the renewal we requested some money back but was told no and if we contact PayPal they would no longer correspond with me! Even worse is I contacted them as we have a resellers account and informed them that due to all sites being suspended and still no resolution we would like to cancel our newly set up USD 200 + Resellers account and we would not be asking for a refund. Quite simply we could not put our corporate name to hosting with these kind of issues!
However as we have another package which enables us 3 domains we have had to move two onto another host as 5 days downtime is too long, their servers being compromised, and suspendending all sites is no good to our clients! I requested if we could change the package back to one domain only and we would await for them to bring this one website only site back up and as we had just paid for it could they either refund or credit time agsinst the difference? The reply I got was that we could cancel anytime but would not get any refund followed by a cancellation link! This is totally disgusting! I was also warned not to post any bad reviews!!! I have all the posts from them and will be compiling this on our web development site and to read is not only entertaining but an extreme warning about using Ubiquity Hosting! |

Reading the conversation here has me scratching my head a bit..
I'm a business customer and have been for over 4 years..
I've only ever had one issue that was their fault and to their credit, they fixed the issue for me almost immediately.
with that said, it's only fair that i point out that i am not just a webhosting customer of theirs, i use a variety of their services and i can say I've seen absolutely no reason to leave this company during the entire time I've been there..
hell they even put up with my temper tantrum on the one issue and did so in a straightforward and honest manner.

| We've had two dedicated servers with Ubiquity since early laster year. Support is fast and when things break, it's never anyone's fault but our own. Would definitely recommend them. |

Phil, was paying $5000/month, server couldn't handel 100,000 page views per day.
now paying $2250/month and doing 1milliion page views.
I know about hosting, if I hadn't spent three months with ubiquity and lost 95% of my business I would be doing over 2mil page views per day.

Always been a great host for me, I have 3 sites on a one of their VPS plans.
Glenn- what do you mean by you 'needed a big server load'? Generally if that's even half true.. you want to get a VPS or dedicated.. and it's going to be as big and handle as much as you want to pay for. There's a lot of valid criticisms of a web host.. not paying for a big enough server isn't one of them. |

I would steer clear of this webhost. Needed a big server load, but they couldn't handle a small amount.
Maybe decent for small websites, but if you have any traffic at all they can't handle the loads |

| I've tried quite a few of the big names in the hosting industry hoping to find good service that's affordable, but normally find that it's cheap, yeah, but so is the support. With Ubiquity, they've helped out tremendously from giving me a welcome call to assisting me with setting up CMS and other things. The price is very affordable (I use the Shared Gold plan) and their staff has been patient with me throughout. I'll be around for as long as this keeps up! |

| Best support out of the 11 web hosts I've worked with over the years. I'm one of those customers that is constantly asking technical questions - I've probably sent in tickets at every possible hour of the day at this point. Every time I'm impressed; I don't think it's ever taken more than 10 minutes to get a very insightful response. A++ |

after spending massive amounts of money getting a cluster setup, they didn't even give the Xeons paid for. then had the nerve to say it was what we'd paid for. 12 days before our account expired they changed the servers and still they didn't even server 150,000 page views.
terrible terrible servers. never ever do business with them! |
