| I have been with Westhost for 1 year and can't move my site to someone else quick enough. Outages every month. This last one in June was 12 hours!. No refunds. No credits given. I lost sales and adsense revenue. VPS prices are cheap, but you get what you pay for. |

I have had very positive experiences with Westhost. First, they provide stable and feature-rich VPS hosting for a very affordable price.
They communicate rigorously all scheduled maintenance interventions.
But the most important: when things went wrong (I once accidentally deleted way too many files on the server), their support turned out to be fast and accurate, and is provided by friendly staff. |

| You will notice that the old reviews are positive. They used to be a great host, but in recent times have changed. My site speed has rapidly declined as they over sell their bandwidth. Every attempt to fix the issue was riddled with excuses and the worst thing is if you read their policies, NO REFUNDS. So even though their service has declined you don't get your money back! Stay clear of them and save yourself the time, money, and hassle! |

| They used to be great, but then they messed up my account information to read that I was at 152% disk use capacity when I was really at 50% (which one of their techs confirmed). However, instead of helping me fix the problem, a sales rep contacted me and told me to upgrade to a more expensive plan, and then marked my ticket as "resolved." I am still getting e-mails that my site will soon not work because I am over capacity, and no one will help. I am switching soon. |

| I spent a week doing nothing but researching web hosts, and Westhost were one of the few who replied to my pre-sales inquiries quickly and professionally. Their package was great too, though a bit low on disk space. Anyway I signed up... Then I get a request from the Account Dept to send them a fax or scan of my credit card, front and back. WTF??? I never had a problem with that credit card before... It's not as if the card was declined, they just wanted proof that I have it. I don't know why they insist on treating me like a criminal. I did not sign up. |

Their payment system is bad, since if they want then they accept your order.
I spent my time trying to get an order by CC. Requesting more info. |
